...or at least in some alternate universe I am. I was a leader in high school, I'm about the same age, I have a large family, and the desire to get things done. It's just the middle part where she was in the PTA, on the city council, elected mayor, appointed to an interstate commission, and became governor that I'm missing.
The entire country is finding out what I alluded to a couple days ago in another post -- this is how it's done. This is the way a woman should reach the top. Not through conniving and calculation, but through the dedication and tenacity Palin has found within her to make the world a better place.
She has risen to every challenge set before her, and succeeded beyond expectations. Oh, and she happens to be a woman.
I'm as giddy as a kid on Christmas. She's going to bring a breath of fresh air to the Grand Ol' Party, she's going to bring class and grace to the White House, and she's going to set the world on fire.
She's the woman I could have been and could still be. That any woman could be.
She's an inspiration to us all.
