My husband, James Pethokoukis, business editor at US News (endearingly referred to as "Jimmy P." by Larry Kudlow) was driving from St. Paul to Chicago to see family before returning to D.C.
He was stopped for speeding (80 in a 65 zone) and as he was chatting it up with the trooper, he mentioned where he was coming from, and of course it led to talking about Sarah Palin. Jim told the trooper that he came up with Larry's favorite new name for the vp nom -- Sarah America!
Well, I don't want to get anyone in trouble but... the trooper smiled and said, "Hey, just slow it down." And sent him on his way.
Sarah Palin has already helped keep money in my family's pocket!
